Rob's Going to Help Us Swim :-)

POP! That was the sound I heard before pain rushed through my body. Gritted teeth and seething pain froze my tiny frame.

As I write this my heart rate still increases, my breath gets elevated and my body remembers that day. A few hours of surgery, 2 metal pins in my left hip and 3 months on crutches. I still carry those pins and bare that scar.

That's how my journey started. I can pinpoint the exact moment my life went from a seemingly ordinary and common path to the fairytale life I lead today. I was 13 years old.

I've had the fortune of traveling this world, meet amazing people and learn a lot because of swimming. I've trained and competed in 3 Olympics Trials for swimming, countless National Championships. I've been ranked as high as 6th in the Nation and Top-100 in the world. As a coach I've taught people of all ages to swim, trained college and high school athletes, as well as triathletes of all ages.

There is nothing special about myself and anyone else. I learned over the years I was the best version of myself when I was working towards a goal. My goal is to connect with each and every one of you with stories of my experiences while giving tips and tricks about swimming, training, and competition. Most importantly I hope I'm able to help you find the best version of yourself.

Welcome to Charlotte Athlete and thank you for inviting me on your journey.
